Where do infotips get the info details from? I'm asking because on the C drive, the infotip for videos - MPG, WMV, MP4, etc. includes the length of the video. This is really useful info. On the D (backup) drive, for the same videos, the Length is replaced by Date Modified. Can I change the info on the infotips?

Any help appreciated.

Hi, That would be done in File Explorer for that particular Drive or Folder.  Under the Heading VIEW.

Check in the Other Drive what you have done there, do it in the D : Drive.

You mean the View in Folder Options? They are identical.

Hi, From Start Menu use This PC or File Exploer--? Click on the D : Drive then go up to the 3 Dot Menu and choose Options then View and put a tick mark in the box for Display the Size Information....

I would also suggest while there put a tick mark in Display Full Path in the Address bar, tick Show Hidden Files,

Note if do not have MY PC put a tick in the box above at bottom.

Edit : Show Preview if want it to show preview on the right side of the windows open in File Explorer and you have dragged that side open to be able to see if it shows closed. Mouse Hoover till find it as per any resize a window.

Can't post an image here, tried everything, but anyway, the Folder Options are exactly the same or both drives.

Didn't follow "Display Full Path in the Address bar". What address bar?

So if you want it globally for the Drive then Click D then View.      They should be the same options and views.   Suggest you may have ticked too many.

The word infotips should be Details View.  :   See couple options : https://www.elevenforum.com/t/windows-explorer-details-view.23190/

And as mentioned Globally : with this program mentioned above and in a linked Box for a Tutorial : https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/winsetview.html

The comparison of View for drives C and D are as the link in post #6. You can see they are identical. How can you tick too many?
