Windows 95 isn't compatible with modern computers. There are several things which keep Windows 95 (and others in the 9X series) from working: fast system timings, unrecognized chipsets, unexpectedly large amounts of RAM, etc. All this just throws Windows 95 for a loop.

You're better off either buying a vintage computer capable of running Windows 95 or using a VM on your new computer. Personally, I would use Win98SE and not Win95.

Good point; if you want to play DOS based old games, Win98SE is your better choice. Pretty much everything that would run in W95 will run fine on W98, plus you get some (somewhat) updated options for running old apps.
