How to restore my Favorites tab

I accidentally deleted my favorites tab and really need to restore it.  Googled a few fixes and nothing works, just tells me to add bookmarks, but there is no tab, just all the bookmarks arranged horizontally above.

How do I get the "Favorited" tab back on toolbars and at least re-add to it if I can't restore all of them?

I've always had a tab labeled FAVORITES, where I could click on it and all my preferred sites were displayed verically,  I want to know how to get the tab back so I can begin adding to it.

Everything I've tried involves bookmarks, which are displayed horizontally at top and after many are added it is hard to navigate them.

There has to be some way to restore the Favorites tab.

Thanks for the help.  I've resorted to using the Bookmarks and it's working the same as "Favorites"   As I stated earlier, I've had the Favorites tab forever and was adamant about retrieving it, but guess the Bookmarks has replaced it.
