An intersting article and an interesting point of view. I know I have one - somewhere - for my desktop but as I have access to four computers this turns out not to be too great a problem. I have another for a different computer, now scrapped,, so I can always re-purpose that USB stick. Somethhing else to do when I get home !

I enjoyed reading the article. It offers practical and realistic advice, but the "create rescue media only when needed" approach doesn't work for all users. But that doesn't make the article any less valuable.
